Dear Washington State PTA member,
Many school districts across Washington are in danger of losing funding next school year because they cannot achieve the required 17:1 class size in Kindergarten through grade 3.
We are asking you to send a message now to your State Senator asking them to support a one-year delay in the K-3 class size compliance mandate. Click here to participate through The Action Network. You can customize the message to add your personal story, especially if you know your school district won’t meet the requirement due to lack of classroom spaces, or if your district is struggling with funding and can’t afford the loss of more resources. Please share this message with members of your council, and encourage them to write their Senators too.
