Stay Connected
Summertime is certainly a time to recharge, slow down and enjoy extra family time. It is also important to stay connected to each other, to WSPTA, and to your school.
Now is the time to make sure that your board is working together to discuss what to prioritize, new ideas for family and community engagement, how to create meaningful programs that benefit the students, and look at new tools that might help you achieve success.
In addition, connect with your school’s administration as well as with the district. It will be important that your district hears the parent’s voice as they develop plans for students going back to school. This is where PTA can shine and use those advocacy voices that we’ve been practicing and perfecting for over 100 years!
