WSPTA Focus on Advocacy Day
February 20, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us for our first IN-PERSON Focus on Advocacy Day in years!
Tickets are now available!
WSPTA members are invited to join us in Olympia to advocate for children and schools with elected officials.
Gather in the Columbia room with us to network and hear speakers from the WSPTA’s Advocacy Committee, State Board of Education, OSPI and Governor Islee’s office. We will also be offering docent-led tours of the Capitol grounds.
We are encouraging members to schedule meetings with their legislators this day (even if you need to schedule remote meetings). It is important to reach out to legislators as soon as possible, so here is a resource to help you with scheduling your meetings.
