Dear Washington State PTA member,
Paraeducators are the only educators who spend their entire workday with students, directly assisting them in learning, growing and navigating the world around them. Many paraeducators begin as PTA volunteers and continue to develop their relationships with these students in their own communities.
We are asking you to contact your legislators with the following message to support the budget including four days of paraeducator training, which we encourage you to customize to add your personal story, especially if you or your child has a paraeducator story. Thank you for advocating for the 1.1 million students of Washington to have the best opportunity to reach their highest potential.

Thank you,
Sherry Rudolph, WSPTA Advocacy Director
