It is the season of open houses, back-to-school nights, and back-to-school bashes! As you prepare for these events, consider having a tri-fold board that lets prospective members know what your PTA did last year and what your PTA plans to do this year. Publicize your PTA membership goals! Set up a QR code that goes straight to a Linktree, which is an all-in-one hub to house links to your online join form, your website, your PTA calendar, etc.
Have you thought about membership incentives? Not only do WSPTA and National PTA have amazing discounts for members, you can also create your own PTA coupons for things like $2 off spirit wear or free popcorn at a movie night. Or perhaps your PTA can hold a membership drawing to include all current members. The best type of drawing is for an item or service that members want but might not purchase themselves.
