Who Can Be A Member?
PTA membership is not limited to parents and teachers at your school.
Any person choosing to support students is eligible for PTA membership. This may include grandparents, aunts and uncles, neighbors, local business owners, school board members, and other community members. Membership is a terrific way to show support of the fantastic things your PTA does on behalf of kids.
Per our member-approved WSPTA Uniform Bylaws (Article 4, Section 1), “Without discrimination, membership in each local PTA shall be open to anyone who supports the purposes and basic policies of National PTA, WSPTA, and the local PTA, and who has paid dues required by the local PTA.”
